The electronic forms listed in “e-Forms” and "TPSI Specification and Template" sections below are provided for the purpose of electronic submission at the e-Registry only. You may download the latest version of
online e-forms, Third Party Software Interface (TPSI) Specification and related templates for the e-forms which have been
introduced at the e-Registry.
If you wish to deliver the specified forms in hard copy form, please visit the "Forms > Specified Forms" Section of
the Registry’s website (www.cr.gov.hk) to download the specified forms for
completion and delivery to the Registry’s offices.
The following online e-forms for company incorporation are provided for you to import the data already filled in the old version of the e-forms
downloaded for offline submission prior to the release of the following current version. Please refer to the
E-Form Data Migration Guideline for steps in importing data to the new version e-form.
The migration of data to the new version e-forms is only applicable to the following e-forms. For other online e-forms with company data pre-filled by the system please login the e-Registry [e-Submission Services > Online Submission], select the changes of company particulars to be reported or annual return and follow the guided wizard to generate the new version of these e-forms for completion and submission.
The following specification and templates are provided to software vendor for reference. Please refer to the Registry’s website
(www.cr.gov.hk) for other details of TPSI and related materials for e-forms which are under development.

Notification of Authorisation to Request for Company Code
(II) Appointment/Cessation of Appointment of Registered Agents
The following forms are only applicable to individuals who are not registered
users of the e-Registry. Company Users and Individual Users of the e-Registry
must register their appointment/cessation of registered agents through Form E-RAG1
under “Registered Agent (RA)” function.
The e-Form Filler is an applet necessary for editing offline the e-forms which you have downloaded from the e-Registry. The whole download and installation process may take a few minutes. Following successful completion of the installation, the e-Form Filler will start automatically.
20 March 2017 Expiry of the Revenue (Reduction of Business Registration Fees) Order 2016
With effect from 1 April 2017, all applications for incorporation of local companies and applications for registration of non-Hong Kong companies delivered to the Companies Registry using the One-stop Company and Business Registration Service must be accompanied by the correct business registration fee and levy.
The Registry anticipates that there will be an upsurge of incorporation applications in the last two weeks of March 2017. We will redeploy resources to maintain a quality service as far as practicable. However, it is possible that we may not be able to meet the performance pledges for our services at times of huge influx of incorporation applications. Please refer to the suggested measures for delivery of applications and documents to the Registry.
20 January 2017 Revision of Specified Forms NW2, NW3, NW4 and NW5
Four specified Forms NW2, NW3, NW4 and NW5 are revised for use under the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance (Chapter 32) with effect from the commencement of Part 2 of the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Ordinance 2016 on 13 February 2017. The revised forms are published in the gazette (G.N. 180 in Gazette No. 2 Vol. 21 ) on 13 January 2017. For details, please refer to Companies Registry External Circular No. 1/2017 .
8 January 2017 New Version of e-Form Filler (Release No. 1/2017)
The new version of e-Form Filler (Release No. 1/2017) has been released. Please download the new version to facilitate offline editing, signing and submission of electronic forms and documents.
27 June 2016 User Login and Document Signing by Digital Certificate in HK Identity Card or Security Token
From now on, Individual Users of e-Registry who have registered their personal digital certificates in their user accounts can login the e-Registry and sign specified forms or related documents by using the digital certificates stored in their Hong Kong Identity Cards or security tokens or PKCS#12 files.
Other than the above new function, Individual Users may continue to login the e-Registry and sign e-forms or related documents with their user names and passwords.
31 July 2015 Delivery of Annual Returns under the Companies Ordinance
The Companies Registry has issued an External Circular No. 2/2015 to remind companies, in particular, public companies and companies limited by guarantee of the requirements under section 662 of the new Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong) in delivering annual returns.
