Welcome to use the electronic filing service provided by the Companies Registry.
A full scale electronic filing service covering 84 specified forms is available at the e-Registry portal. You may deliver specified forms and related documents required for registration under the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance (Chapter 32 of the Laws of Hong Kong) to the Registrar of Companies in electronic form at the e-Registry round the clock daily. The Registry has also developed the “CR eFiling” mobile application for registered users of the e-Registry to submit application for incorporation, Annual Return and commonly filed specified forms to the Registrar of Companies for registration using smartphones and mobile devices anytime and anywhere.
The e-Form Filler is an application program necessary for performing online submission and editing offline the e-forms which you have downloaded from the e-Registry. The whole download and installation process may take a few minutes. Following successful completion of the installation, the e-Form Filler will start automatically.
11 January 2019 Revision of e-Form NR2
To facilitate the commencement of the operation of the Companies (Amendment)(No. 2) Ordinance 2018 on 1 February 2019, Form NR2 on “Notice of Location of Registers and Company Records” has been revised. New e-Form template will be introduced for use on the same day.
24 December 2018 e-Registry – New Version of e-Form Filler
A new version of e-Form Filler (“new e-Form Filler”) was released at the e-Registry on 23 December 2018. The new e-Form Filler can be used without the need of the Java SE Runtime Environment.
You are advised to download and install the new e-Form Filler to facilitate online submission and offline editing, signing and submission of electronic forms and documents.
19 September 2018 Upsurge of Specified Forms Reporting Changes of Company Secretaries and Registered Offices
Since early September 2018, a large number of specified forms reporting the changes of company secretaries and registered office addresses were delivered to this Registry for registration. We envisage that the upsurge of these specified forms will continue in the coming months. We have already deployed additional resources to maintain a quality service as far as practicable. However, it is possible that we are not able to meet the performance pledges for our services at times of huge influx of documents. Please refer to the suggested measures for delivery of specified forms to the Registry.
